Abstract

Gradska regija Zadra od kraja Drugog svjetskog rata do danas doživjela je znatnu trasformaciju stanovništva i prostora. Zadar, svojim položajem, prometnom dostupnošću i svojom funkcijom rada utječe na transformaciju okolnih naselja, kako na kopnu tako i na otocima. Osim Zadra, kao glavnog središta gradske regije, analizirani su i ostali manji gradovi gradske regije (Biograd na Moru, Benkovac, Obrovac i Pag). Rad je baziran na promjene koje su se dogodile u razdoblju od 1970-ih godina do danas, kada gradska regija bilježi znatniji demografski i gospodarski razvoj. Svrha rada bila je analizirati i prikazati naselja gradske regije koja su se u poslijednjih pedesetak godina mijenjala. Analiziran je demografski sastav stanovništva gradske regije, socio-ekonomska, funkcionalna i morfološka struktura, odnosno transformacija. Najveći osvrt u radu posvećen je intenzitetu dnevnih migracija iz okolnih naselja u Zadar ali i u druge manje gradove. Svi prikupljeni podaci su obrađeni i prikazani statističkim tablicama i grafičkim prikazima, a glavni analitički alat u ovom radu je GIS, kojim su se vizualizirali rezulatai istraživanja.

Abstract (english)

The city district of Zadar has gone through a significant transformation in the sphere of its space and population since the Second World War. Considering its position, traffic accessibility and working function, the city of Zadar impacts the transformation of its surrounding towns, on the mainland as well as on islands. Apart from Zadar as the main city of the region, smaller towns in the region have been analyzed (Biograd, Benkovac, Obrovac and Pag). This thesis is based on transformations which occurred in the period from the 1970s until the present, when demographic and economic development was at its highest in the city's region. The goal of this thesis is to analyze and show towns in Zadar's region and how they changed during the last fifty years. The analysis of the demographic system of the region’s population, social and economic, as well as functional and morphological structures and transformations, has been performed. The central theme of the thesis is the intensity of daily migrations from the surrounding area of Zadar into the city, as well into smaller towns. All data has been analyzed and the statistics are shown in tables and charts. The main analysis tool used is GIS, which served to visualize the research data.
