Abstract

Multinacionalne kompanije su jedna od najkompleksnijih organizacijskih poslovnih struktura koje se javljaju u svim granama gospodarskih djelatnosti. Utjecaj njihovog djelovanja i promjene koje donose su društveno i geografski nejednaki. Mnoge diljem svijeta traže jeftine i efikasne proizvodne lokacije, u zemljama u kojima su zakoni za zaštitu okoliša i ljudskih prava slabi. Područja njihova djelovanja rasprostranjena su po cijelom svijetu i obuhvaćaju velike površine a nerijetko i osjetljive ekosisteme koji zahtijevaju pažljivije postupanje od onoga kakvo je danas. No, osim kompanija koje posluju i pritom se ne brinu o okolišu, prisutne su i one koje djeluju odgovornije.

Abstract (english)

Multinational companies are one of the most complex organizational business structures that occur in all types of economic activities. The impact of their actions and changes are socially and geographically unequal. Around the world, they are looking for cheap and efficient production sites in countries where laws of environment protection and human rights are weak. The areas of their operations are spread all over the world and cover a large surfaces and often fragile ecosystems that require more careful handling than what it is today. Except for companies that are operating while not caring about the environment, there are also those that act more responsibly.
