Abstract

Svi europski šišmiši se hrane kukcima. Pošto su to noćne životinje koje lete, razvili su puno prilagodbi na to, eholokaciju, različite načine letova i prilagodili su svoja probavila takvoj prehrani. Postoje velike razlike u metodama lova između četiri europske porodice, ali i u unutar porodica, pa i rodova.

Abstract (english)

All of the European bats are insectivores. Because they are night animals that fly, they have developed many adjustments such as echolocation, different flight patterns and specific digestion. There are a many differences between the four European families, but also within them and within the same genera.
