Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad temelji se na izradi digitalne geoprostorne baze podataka u programu ArcMap, a koja je osnova za izradu vojne topografske karte. Proces izrade karte se sastoji od dva dijela. Prvi dio se odnosi na izradu geoprostorne baze podataka kroz proces digitalizacije prirodne i društvene osnove (entiteta) prostora na temelju satelitskih snimaka. Drugi dio definira metodu izrade karte iz prethodno kreirane geoprostorne baze podataka. Osobita je pozornost usmjerena na pravila vizualizacije signatura u MTM standardu za mjerilo 1: 50 000. U završnom dijelu rada opisan je proces izrade karte iz tehničkog (programskog) pogleda te je provedena usporedba i kraća analiza kartografike dosadašnjih vojnih karata i karata prema MTM standardu.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis is based on the production of a digital geospatial database that is the basis for the creation of a military topographic map. The mapping process consists of two parts. The first part refers to the creation of a geospatial database through the process of digitizing the natural and social basis (entity) of environment based on satellite images. The second part defines the method of making a map from a previously created geospatial database. Particular attention is focused on the rules of entity visualization in MTM standard for scale 1: 50 000. Process of mapping from technical (software) aspect of view is described in the final part of this Master thesis. Final part also includes comparison and short analysis of mapping of military topographic maps currently in use and those according to MTM standard.
