Abstract

Cretovi su močvarna staništa sa specifičnom vegetacijom u kojoj važnu ulogu igra mah tresetar (Sphagnum), prilagođen uvjetima visoke i fluktuirajuće razine vlage i niske koncentracije kisika. Okućeni, polifiletska skupina praživotinja s karakterističnom kućicom, imaju veliku raznolikost na cretovima. Ciljevi istraživanja bili su istražiti utjecaj restauracije creta Đon močvar na raznolikost okućena, pojedine karakteristične vrste i utvrditi utjecaj restauracije na pH vrijednost i vlažnost supstrata. Uzorci koji su analizirani prikupljeni su u dva terenska izlaska u travnju i studenom 2015. godine u gornjim i donjim slojevima kontrolnih, restauracijskih i sukcesijskih ploha. Ukupno je zabilježeno 38 svojti okućena, a dominirale su svojte: Assulina sp., Arcella sp., Euglypha rotunda, Planocarina carinata, Heleopera petricola var. amethystea, H. sphagni i Difflugia sp. Na sastav svojti okućena utjecala je vlažnost uzorka, koncentracija otopljenog kisika i provedene revitalizacijske mjere. Sličnost revitalizacijskih i kontrolnih postaja u sastavu i udjelu svojti okućena povećavala se s vremenom. Pojedine svojte okućena bile su dobri indikatori hidroloških uvjeta na cretu. Okućeni se mogu koristiti kao bioindikatori u restauraciji cretnih ekosustava, pri čemu treba koristiti biocenološke pokazatelje, ali i indikatorske vrste.

Abstract (english)

Peat bogs are wetland habitats with specific vegetation in which peat moss (Sphagnum) plays a central role, with adaptations to high and fluctuating levels of soil moisture and low levels of oxygen. Testate amoebae, polyphyletic group of protozoans with a characteristic test, have a high diversity on peatbogs. The aims of this research were to investigate the impact of peatbog Đon močvar restauration on the testate amoebae diversity, the impact on several specific species of testate amoebae as well as on pH and moisture levels. Analysed samples were gathered on two occasions in April and November 2015. The samples were collected from upper and lower parts of peat moss matrix from control, restoration and succession sites. A total of 38 taxa were recorded, with the most common species: Assulina sp., Arcella sp., Euglypha rotunda, Planocarina carinata, Heleopera petricola var. amethystea, H. sphagni and Difflugia sp. Soil moisture, dissolved oxygen levels and restoration measures had an impact on the testate amoebae assemblage composition. The similarity of testate amoebae assemblages on the restoration and control plots increased with time. Some individual species were proved as the good indicators of hydrological conditions on the peatbog. Biocoenological variables and indicator taxa of testate amoebae can be used as bioindicators of restauration of bog ecosystems.
