Abstract

Cilj ovog seminarskog rada bio je istražiti i opisati geomorfološka obilježja 10 km dugačkog kanjona rječice Slapnice. Smjer pružanja doline je SZ-JI, te se na putu od izvora prema ušću izmjenjuju djelovanja krških, fluviokrških i fluviodenudacijskih procesa koji su uvjetovali nastanak zona krškog, fluviokrškog i fluviodenudacijskog reljefa. Podloga za nastanak ove vrste reljefa je u kontaktu nepropusnih ili manje propusnih (dolomiti) i propusnih stijena (vapnenci). Vrlo su česti padinski procesi. Razrađena su geomorfološka obilježja doline kroz gornji, srednji i donji tok tekućice. Rječicu i njene pritoke krase brojna slapišta koja su rezultat taloženja “žive stijene” - sedre. Eksploataciji tehničko-građevnog kamena na kamenolomu “Slapnica” pristupljeno je s aspekta ekološke prijetnje bioraznolikosti.

Abstract (english)

The main goal of this seminar paper was to explore and specify geomorphological features of the canyon stream Slapnica which is 10 km long. The valley is oriented towards NW-SE and on the way from spring to delta alternates the impact of karstic, fluviokarstic and fluviodenudational processes which has caused formation of karst, fluviokarst and fluviodenudational reliefs. Formation of this kind of reliefs was influenced by impact of impermeable and less-impermeable (dolomites) and by permeable rocks (limestones). Slope processes are quite often. Geomorphological features of the valley through the upper, middle and lower course of the stream have been elaborated. Stream and her confluents are adorned with cascades which are the result of precipitation of tufa who is also known as “live rock”. Main difficulty the canyon Slapnica is facing is the exploitation of the technical-construction stone, this problem was approached by ecological aspect of threat to biodiversity.
