Abstract

Lječilišni turizam je temeljna podvrsta zdravstvenog turizma koja obilježava Savinjsku regiju i Krapinsko-zagorsku županiju. U Savinjskoj regiji postoji ukupno sedam aktivnih lječilišta i toplica, dok ih je pet u Krapinsko-zagorskoj županiji. Obje destinacije bilježe konstantan rast u prihodima i turističkom prometu, međutim veliki problem stvara nedostatak povezanosti na vertikalnoj razini koja bi osigurala bolje promotivne aktivnosti i veću prepoznatost destinacija na tržištu. Jedan od nedostataka je i nizak udio drugih turističkih sadržaja koji bi turiste duže zadržali u destinaciji i time osigurali i priljev većih prihoda. Za razliku od svojih slovenskih konkurenata, zagorska lječilišta i toplice bilježe visok udio kvalificiranog stručnog osoblja, dok Savinjsko osoblje ima niže kvalificirano i manje motivirano osoblje. Obzirom na postojanje pandemije COVID-a 19 koja u ovom trenutku narušava sve ekonomije svijeta, ostaje upitan daljni rast i razvoj, te način poslovanja svih ponuditelja u okviru zdravstvenog turizma.

Abstract (english)

Spa tourism is a basic subtype of health tourism that characterizes the Savinjska region and Krapina-Zagorje County. There are a total of seven active health resorts and spas in the Savinjska region, while there are five in Krapina-Zagorje County. Both destinations record constant growth in revenue and tourism, but a major problem is the lack of vertical connectivity that would ensure better promotional activities and greater recognition of destinations in the market. One of the disadvantages is the low share of other tourist facilities that would keep tourists in the destination longer and thus ensure the inflow of higher revenues. Unlike its Slovenian competitors, spas in Zagorje have a high share of qualified professional staff, while Savinjska staff is lower qualified and less motivated. Given the existence of the COVID 19 pandemic, which is currently disrupting all the world's economies, further growth and development remains questionable, as does the way all providers operate within health tourism.
