Abstract

Prostorni (regionalni) identitet kao koncept prvenstveno se odnosi na percepciju prostora, odnosno osjećaju pripadnosti određenom području ili mjestu. Stoga se kroz izraženost pojedinih razina identiteta (lokalni, regionalni, nacionalni) u lokalnim zajednicama vrijednosti kulturnih i prirodnih resursa kako i nematerijalne baštine mogu transformirati u turističku atrakciju. Stoga je prostorni (regionalni) identitet jedan od važnijih nematerijalnih resursa koji uz pravilnu promociju ima značajan potencijal u izgradnji turističkih proizvoda. Regionalni identitet je većinom dominantan u jasno definiranim tradicijskim regijama kao što su Istra i Međimurje dok su lokalna i nacionalna razina prisutne u nejasno definiranim regijama poput Bjelovarske.

Abstract (english)

Spatial (regional) identity as a concept primarily refers to the perception of space, it is the feeling of belonging to a certain area or place. Therefore, through the expression of certain levels of identity (local, regional, national) in local communities, the values of cultural and natural resources as well as intangible heritage can be transformed into a tourist attraction. Therefore, spatial (regional) identity is one of the most important intangible resources which, with proper promotion, has significant potential in the construction of tourist products. Regional identity is mostly dominant in clearly defined traditional regions such as Istria and Međimurje, while the local and national levels are present in vaguely defined regions such as Bjelovar region.
