Abstract

Velike urušne ponikve su zatvorene krške depresije koje se ističu među okolnim depresijama zbog svojih iznimnih dimenzija i strmih, stjenovitih padina te nastaju podrivanjem podzemnih tokova duž tektonski nestabilnih zona. Na temelju digitalnog modela reljefa rezolucije 5 × 5 m istražene su opće morfometrijske karakteristika reljefa Markovog polja u Lici i Imotskog polja te prostorna rasprostranjenost i karakteristike urušnih ponikvi na tim područjima. Cilj rada bio je odrediti odnose između morfometrijskih pokazatelja, litoloških i strukturnih značajki prostora te napraviti sintezu svih analiziranih podataka kako bi se razumio utjecaj reljefa i geološke građe na raspored velikih urušnih ponikva odabranih područja. Uočena je povezanost većih nagiba padina i veće vertikalne raščlanjenosti reljefa padina urušnih ponikava od okolnog reljefa. Iz odnosa volumena i površine ponikava mogu se podijeliti u tri grupe prema starosti; mlade, zrele i stare. Urušne se ponikve nalaze u rasjednim zonama, uz veće pukotine i na litološkim granicama.

Abstract (english)

Large-volume collapse dolines are enclosed karst depressions that stand out among the surrounding depressions due to their exceptional dimensions and steep, rocky slopes, and are a result of undermining by subsurface flow along tectonically unstable zones. The general morphometric characteristics of the relief of Markovo polje in Lika and Imotski polje, as well as the spatial distribution and characteristics of collapse dolines in these areas were investigated using a 5 x 5 m resolution digital elevation model. Research aim of this thesis was to determine the relationship between morphometric parameters, lithological and structural characteristics of the area and to make a synthesis of all the analysed parameters in order to understand the influence of relief and geological structure on the distribution of large collapse dolines in the selected areas. The connection between steeper slopes and greater vertical relief dissection of the collapse doline slopes from the surrounding relief was observed. From the relation between volume and surface area, collapse dolines can be divided into three groups according to age; young, mature and old. Collapse dolines are located in fault zones, near larger cracks and lithological boundaries
