Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je provesti inicijalno etnobotaničko istraživanje ruralne okolice Novog Marofa. U istraživanje su bila uključena 34 ispitanika, a istraživanje je provedeno tijekom vegetacijske sezone 2021. godine. Zabilježena je upotreba 194 biljne svojte, od čega 126 samoniklih i 68 uzgajanih biljaka. Biljne svojte svrstane su u 64 porodice, a najčešće se koriste biljke iz porodica Rosaceae (11,34 %), Asteraceae (9,28 %), Lamiaceae (6,19 %) i Poaceae (5,15 %). Prema učestalosti korištenja pojedinih dijelova biljke najčešće se koristi list (34,54 %), a zatim plod (27,32 %) i cvijet (24,23 %). Zabilježene biljne svojte koriste se na trinaest različitih načina, od kojih su najčešći: kao hrana ljudima (23 %), za medicinsku primjenu (18 %) te za pripravu raznih pića (18 %). Rezultati ovog istraživanja uspoređeni su s rezultatima dvaju istraživanja provedenih u Hrvatskom zagorju (okolica Zaboka i okolica Brezničkog Huma) te je utvrđeno da je ovim istraživanjem zabilježen najveći broj uporabnih svojti, ali su podaci o korištenju biljaka velikim dijelom slični.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this work was to perform an initial ethnobotanical study of the rural surroundings of Novi Marof. The study was conducted during the 2021 vegetation season and included 34 interviewees. The use of 194 plant taxa was recorded, of which 126 wild and 68 cultivated plants. Plant taxa belong to 64 families, and the most commonly used plants are from the families Rosaceae (11.34%), Asteraceae (9.28%), Lamiaceae (6.19%) and Poaceae (5.15%). According to the frequency of use of individual parts of plants, leaves (34.54%) are most often used, followed by fruits (27.32%) and flowers (24.23%). Recorded plants are used in thirteen different ways, of which the most common are: as food for humans (23%), for medical use (18%) and for the preparation of various beverages (18%). The results of this research were compared with the results of two previous studies conducted in the areas of Hrvatsko Zagorje (surroundings of Zabok and Breznički Hum), and it was found that this study recorded the largest number of useful taxa, but the data on plant use are generally similar.
