Abstract

U ovom radu pokrećem raspravu oko toga evoluira li čovjek i dalje i koji je smjer te evolucije. Razmatraju se razni dobro proučeni primjeri nedavne i suvremene ljudske evolucije, te se sagledavaju u vidu društvene i geografske komponente selekcijskih obrazaca. Na kraju se zaključuje da postoje još mnogi putevi otvoreni ljudskoj evoluciji, čak i u postindustrijskim društvima i da je selekcija itekako prisutna u istima.

Abstract (english)

Herein, I discuss whether or not man is currently evolving, and if so what is the direction of this evolution. Several prominent and well studied examples of recent and contemporary evolution are considered with particular regards to the social and geographic component of selection patterns. Finally, it is concluded that there are many roads still open to human evolution, even in postindustrial societies, and that even in these advanced societies selection is still present.
