Abstract

U sklopu ovog diplomskog rada okarakterizirane su koloidne čestice anatasa te su ispitana
međupovršinska svojstva titanijev(IV) oksid / vodena otopina elektrolita. Kao elektrolit je
korišten natrijev klorid. Radi onečišćenja ishodnih uzoraka, prije mjerenja je provedeno
čišćenje čestica. Za karakterizaciju čestica korišteno je nekoliko metoda. Potenciometrijskom
masenom titracijom određena je točka nul-naboja. Potenciometrijskom kiselinsko-baznom
titracijom određene su relativna... More površinska gustoća naboja i točka nul-naboja. Izoelektrična
točka određena je metodom elektroforeze. Dobiveni podaci o izoelektričnoj točki i točki nulnaboja ukazali su na bolje vezanje natrijevih kationa na površinu čestica i zaostajanje kloridnih
aniona u otopini. Veličina čestica te njihova raspodjela određene su dinamičkim i statičkim
raspršenjem svjetlosti. Mjerenja su provedena na česticama različitih veličina te su rezultati

Abstract (english)

For the purpose of this paper, colloidal anatas particles were described and the interfacial
properties of titanium(IV) oxide / aqueous electrolyte solution were investigated. Sodium
chloride was used as the electrolyte. Due to the contamination of the starting samples, particle
cleaning was performed before the measurement. Several methods were used to characterize
particles. Zero-charge point was determined by potentiometric mass titration. By potentiometric
acid-base... More titration the relative surface charge density and the zero-charge point were
determined. The isoelectric point was determined by electrophoresis. The obtained data on the
isoelectric point and the zero-charge point indicated better binding of sodium cations to the
surface of the particles and the lagging of chloride anions in the solution. Particle size and
