Abstract

Izvori su jedinstvena slatkovodna staništa na kojima se susreću kopneni, vodeni nadzemni i
vodeni podzemni ekosustavi. Tu se razvijaju zajednice organizama specifičnog sastava i
strukture, često bogate endemskim i reliktnim vrstama. Tulari (Trichoptera) jedna su od
najzastupljenijih komponenti slatkovodne entomofaune. Pojavljuju se u svim tipovima
slatkovodnih staništa uključujući i izvore. Ovim radom objedinile su se ove dvije značajke,
izvori kao specifična staništa s jedne strane i fauna, vrste tulara koji ih nastanjuju s druge strane.
Na 69 izvora na prostoru cijele Hrvatske utvrđeno je 148 vrsta tulara. Faunistički utvrđen je
veći broj zanimljivih vrsta. Najzanimljiviji nalaz je vrsta Crunoecia irrorata (Curtis, 1834) koja
je ovim istraživanjem utvrđena prvi puta na području Hrvatske. U rodu Drusus koji je
najtipičniji rod izvorskih Trichoptera u europskoj fauni opisani su nepoznati stadiji kukuljica
za vrste: D. croaticus Marinković-Gospodnetić, 1971 i D. septentrionis MarinkovićGospodnetić, 1976 te posljednji V. razvojni stadij ličinke vrste D. schmidi Botosaneanu, 1960.
Utvrđene su značajke životnih ciklusa vrsta D. croaticus i D. septentrionis.

Abstract (english)

Springs are unique freshwater habitats where terrestrial, aquatic terrestrial and aquatic
subterranean ecosystems meet. Communities of organisms with a specific composition and
structure develope here, often rich in endemic and relict species. Caddisflies (Trichoptera) are
one of the most represented components of the freshwater entomofauna. They occur in all types
of freshwater habitats, including springs. This dissertation unites this two features, springs as
specific habitats on the one side and fauna, the species of caddisflies that inhabit them on the
other side. There have been determined 148 caddisflies species in 69 springs in Croatia. A large
number of interesting species were identified from the faunal point of view. The most
interesting finding is the species Crunoecia irrorata (Curtis, 1834) which was discovered for
the first time in Croatia. Previously unknown pupal stages of the species in the genera Drusus,
which is the most tipical genera of spring Trichoptera in the European fauna, have been
described: D. croaticus Marinković-Gospodnetić, 1971 and D. septentrionis MarinkovićGospodnetić, 1976, including the last, fifth developmental larval stage of the species D. schmidi
Botosaneanu, 1960. The features of the life cycle for the spedies D. croaticus and D.
septentrionis have been determined.
