Abstract
U radu proučavamo binomne koeficijente, njihova svojstva i primjene te istražujemo vezu binomnih koeficijenata s raznim matematičkim pojmovima i rezultatima poput binomnog teorema, binomne razdiobe i pravila za računanje derivacija umnoška dviju funkcija. Napisan je program u programskog jeziku C koji računa vrijednost faktorijela i binomnih koeficijenata. Dan je i program koji ispisuje prvih \(n\) redaka Pascalovog trokuta. U radu su navedene razne nastavne aktivnosti, primjeri primjena binomnih koeficijenata, zadaci te njihova rješenja koja mogu pomoći u nastavi matematike.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, we study the binomial coefficients, their properties and applications and investigate the role of binomial coefficients in various mathematical concepts and results such as the binomial theorem, binomial distribution, and the product differentation rule. A program is provided in the C programming language that computes factorials and binomial coefficients. Additionally, a program is included that generates the first \(n\) rows of Pascal's triangle. Throughout the paper, various activities, examples of binomial coefficient applications, and problem solutions are discussed to aid in teaching and understanding the significance of binomial coefficients.
