Abstract

Posebni rezervat šumske vegetacije „Crni jarki“ jedno je od zaštićenih područja u Hrvatskoj. Područje je relativno nepoznato, a zaštićeno je prvenstveno zbog crne johe (Alnus glutinosa) koja se u tom području nalazi u optimalnom razvitku. Na Posebni rezervat možemo gledati kao na sekundarnu prašumu, odnosno, kao na područje u kojem su se nekad odvijale gospodarske djelatnosti, ali su kasnijim intervencijama šume izuzete od takvih djelatnosti i prepuštene samoregulaciji. „Crni jarki“ su dom mnogim životinjskim vrstama od kojih su mnoge zaštićene. Cilj ovog rada je upoznati čitatelja s općim karakteristikama Posebnog rezervata te se nešto detaljnije posvetiti nekim zaštićenim životinjskim vrstama koje žive na području rezervata. U budućim akcijskim planovima trebalo bi se poraditi na povećanju ekološke svijesti ljudi i na usklađivanju gospodarskih aktivnosti šireg područja sa zaštićenim područjem. Također, trebalo bi provesti detaljnija istraživanja Posebnog rezervata da se utvrdi trenutno stanje bioraznolikosti te da se utvrde što bolje mjere očuvanja iste.

Abstract (english)

Special forest reserve "Crni jarki" is one of the protected areas in Croatia. The area is relatively unknown, and is protected primarily due to black alder (Alnus glutinosa), which is in its optimal development in this area. The Special Reserve can be seen as secondary rainforest, or, as the area in which they once carried an economic activity, but later forest was excluded from such activities and left to self-regulation. "Crni jarki" are home to many species of which many are protected. The purpose of this paper is to familiarize the reader with the general characteristics of the Special Reserve and to get a more detailed view of some of the protected species that live in the reserve. Future action plans should be focused on increasing the environmental awareness of people and on the better coordination of economic activities of the wider area with the protected area. Also, a more detailed investigation of the Special Reserve should be carried out to determine the current state of biodiversity and to determine the best possible measures to conserve the biodiversity.
