Abstract

Vrsta je riječ koja se u biološkom riječniku jako često koristi no nema točne definicije. Nije da je nisu niti pokušali definirati no niti jedna definicija zasada nije zadovoljila sve ukuse. Na vrstu se u početku gledalo kao morfološki definiraju nepromjenjivu jedinicu u prostoru i vremenu, no danas se zna da to nije tako te se gleda puno drugih osobina. Doneseni su različiti koncepti vrste kojima se pokušava dati valjana definicija vrste. Svi su koncepti „dobri“ no zbog subjektivnog pogleda na definicije nije se moguće dogovoriti za jedan koji bi tada postao definicijom vrste. U ovom radu obrađeno je sedam koncepata a to su redom: biološki koncept vrste, koncept prepoznavanja vrste, koncept genetičkih klastera, evolucijski koncept vrste, ekološki koncept vrste te kohezijski i filogenetski koncept vrste.

Abstract (english)

Species is one of the most common words found in scientific literature dealing with biology but there is no precise definition for it. It is not the case that no one tried to defene it but no definition for the time being satisfy all community. In the beginning, sight of species was purely as a morphological entities without any possibility of change but now we are certain it is not the case. Nowadays there are nummerous factors used to distinguish species from species. Different concepst have been proposed in hope of solving the species problem in biology. All of them are good but none of them gives the true definition of species and the scientists can't find the one which would define species. In this work were analysed seven concepts: biological species concept, recognition species concept , genotipyc cluster species concept, cohesion species concept, evolutionary species concept, ecological species concept and phylogenetic species concept.
