Abstract

U ovom radu proučavamo teoriju funkcija vjerovanja, koja se smatra generalizacijom klasične Kolmogorovljeve teorije vjerojatnosti, teoriju koja se temelji na našim stvarnim znanjima i spoznajama, a ne na pretpostavkama. Definiramo osnovna pridruživanja vjerovanja i njima pripadne funkcije vjerovanja te proučavamo njihova svojstva. Dajemo važan rezultat za karakterizaciju funkcija vjerovanja te također uvodimo pojam uvjetnih funkcija vjerovanja i pojam nezavisnosti. Kroz primjere smo nastojali čitatelju približiti način promišljanja i donošenja odluka u neznanju koristeći rezultate teorije funkcija vjerovanja.

Abstract (english)

In this work we have introduced the theory of belief functions which is a generalization of Kolmogorov’s probability theory, the theory which is based on knowledge of facts rather than assumptions. We defined basic belief assignments and the corresponding belief functions and studied their basic properties. We gave an important result on characterization of belief functions. We also defined conditional basic belief assignments and introduced the concept of independence. Through examples, we showed the way of thinking and making decisions under uncertainty in terms of belief functions.
