Abstract

Kosti i hrskavica stvaraju endoskelet čovjeka. Građa koštanog tkiva definirana je djelovanjem tri tipa stanica: osteoblasta, osteocita i osteoklasta koje sudjeluju u stvaranju i remodeliranju koštanog matriksa, dok hrskavično tkivo grade hondroblasti i hondrociti te ono za razliku od koštanog tkiva nema vlastitu mogućnost regeneracije. Zbog oštećenja koje ove strukture trpe njihova obnova značajna je za ljude pa su u ovom radu opisane neke od tehnika liječenja koje se koriste ili su u razvoju kako bi se kosti i hrskavica uspješno regenerirale.

Abstract (english)

Bones and cartilage create the human endoskeleton. Bone structure is defined by the activity of three type of cells: osteoblasts, osteocytes and osteoclasts which participate in making and remodeling of the bone matrix, while cartilage tissue is formed by chondroblasts and chondrocytes but does not have the ability to regenerate like bone does. Because of the damage that these structures endure their renewal is significant for people so this work describes some of the techniques that are used or in development so that bone and cartilage would efficiently regenerate.
