Abstract

U ovom radu prikazan je složen proces izgradnje matematičke teorije vezane uz pojmove kut, krug i kružnica u nastavi matematike. Opisana je njegova postupnost i naglašena važnost prilagodbe sadržaja i izgleda definicije uzrastu učenika u nastavi, bez da se pritom naruše osnovna načela koje matematika kao znanost zahtjeva. Naglasak je stavljen na poteškoće s kojima se susreću učenici i nastavnici u nastavi prilikom uvođenja pojmova kut, krug i kružnica te važnost uloge nastavnika pri otklanjanju tih poteškoća. Sukladno provedenom istraživanju navedeni su mogući razlozi pojave poteškoća prilikom obrade sadržaja vezanih uz krug i kružnicu u srednjoškolskoj nastavi matematike.

Abstract (english)

This thesis presents a complex process of building mathematical theory related to the terms of an angle, a circle and a disk in teaching mathematics. We describe that the process is gradual and emphasize the importance of adapting the content and formulating the definition according to the students’ age, without violating the basic principles required by mathematics as a science. The emphasis is on difficulties that students encounter when introduced to the concept of an angle, a circle and a disk and moreover the importance of the role of a teacher in eliminating these difficulties. Based on the conducted research, we show possible reasons for the occurrence of the difficulties when studying topics related with a circle and a disk in high school mathematics.
