Dinarski voluhar u svojoj prehrani preferira više dvosupnice nego jednosupnice. U njegovoj prehrani su najviše zastupljene zeljaste biljke. |

Parallel abstract (English) | The research was done on eight specimens of Martino´s vole (Dinaromys bogdanovi), of which four individuals were caught on the north side of the mountain Mosor using live traps (25 cm x 8 cm x 8 cm), other animals were born in captivity. Each specimen was placed in a special terrarium (80 cm x 60 cm x 55 cm), in the Zagreb Zoo. I presented animal food (Invertebrates) from three different families and plants from 30 different families. The plants were mostly harvested in the Maksimir Park. Each presented plant species was measured using a balance and all present parts of the plant (buds, flowers, fruit, leaves, stems and roots) were counted and recorded. After 24 hours, all uneaten food was removed from each terrarium and then, each plant species was separately weighted, and all parts of the plant were counted and recorded. The research results show that this species is exclusively herbivorous. Martino´s vole in its diet prefers dicots over monocots. Also, herbaceous plants make the majority of the diet. |
