Abstract

Pripremljeni su novi bis-aminokiselinski (Valin i Leucin) i monoaminokiselinski (Valin i
Leucin) derivati fumaramida koji u svojoj strukturi na kiselinskom kraju sadrže vinilnu skupinu
u obliku vinilnog estera. Novo sintetizirani derivati dobri su supramolekulski gelatori organskih
otapala kao što su toluen, acetonitiril, o-, m- i p-ksileni i smjese voda/DMF i voda/DMSO.
Molekule gelatora se samoudružuju nekovalentnim interakcijama, ponajviše vodikovim
vezama između amidne skupine (CONH) i karboksilatne skupine (COO), tvoreći vlakna i
gelsku mrežu. Iz studije morfologije vidljivo je da gelovi sadržavaju nitastu strukturu
nanometarskih dimenzija isprepletenu u trodimenzionalnu mrežu. Pripremljeni derivati u svojoj
strukturi sadrže reaktivne alilne skupine pogodne za provođenje reakcije polimerizacije
inicirane pomoću gama ili ultraljubičastog zračenja u supramolekulskim agregatima odabranih
gelova. Utvrđeno je da se reakcije polimerizacije događaju samo u gelskoj mreži te ovise o
strukturi agregata odnosno blizini i orijentaciji dvostrukih veza u gelskoj mreži. Polimeri
nastaju prilikom izlaganja gelova gama i ultraljubičastom zračenju u toluenu i acetonitrilu te u
smjesi otapala (voda/DMF) s prijepisom strukture niti supramolekulskih gelova u polimere.
Polimeri koji nastaju u otopini su amorfne prirode i ne pokazuju nitastu strukturu kao u slučaju
polimerizacije u gelu. Za istraživanje i karakterizaciju supramolekulskih gelova primijenjeno
je više instrumentalnih metoda, koje uključuju temperaturnu NMR i FTIR spektroskopiju, a za
istraživanje morfologije gelova i polimera korištena je TEM, SEM i AFM mikroskopija.

Abstract (english)

Novel bis-amino acids (Valine and Leucine) and mono-amino acids (Valine and Leucine)
fumaramide derivatives have been prepared which contain a vinyl group in the form of a vinyl
ester in their structure at the acid end. The newly synthesized derivatives are good
supramolecular gelators of organic solvents such as toluene, acetonitrile, o, m, p-xylene and
mixtures of water / DMF and water / DMSO. The gelator molecules self-assemble by noncovalent interactions, mainly by hydrogen bonds between the amide group (CONH) and the
carboxyl group (COO), thus forming a gel network. Morphology studies show that the gels
contain a filamentous structure of nanometer dimensions exhaustive in a three-dimensional
network. The prepared derivatives in their structure contain reactive alkyl groups suitable for
carrying out the polymerization reaction initiated by gamma or ultraviolet radiation in the
supramolecular aggregates of selected gels. It was found that polymerization reactions occur
only in the gel network and depend on the structure of the aggregate, ie the proximity and
orientation of double bonds in the gel network. Polymers were formed by exposure to gamma
and ultraviolet radiation in toluene, acetonitrile and water / DMF gels with transcripts of gel
structure into polymers. The polymers formed in the solution do not show the structure of
polymer as in the case of gel polymerization. Several instrumental methods have been applied
to investigate and characterize supramolecular gels, which include temperature NMR and FTIR
spectroscopy, and TEM, SEM, and AFM microscopy have been used to investigate the
morphology of gels and polymers.
