Abstract

U ovom radu proučavamo i implementiramo rješavanje simetričnog svojstvenog problema metodom Podijeli-pa-vladaj. Izvodimo samu metodu i navodimo bitne rezultate koji opisuju njezine karakteristike. Navodimo rezultate dobivene testiranjem implementacije algoritma u C++-u na nekoliko različitih primjera matrica.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis we study the solving of symmetric eigenproblem using Divide-and conquer method. We derive the method and present some important results that describe its characteristics. After that, we proceed by presenting the results obtained by testing the implementation of the algorithm in C++ on several different examples of matrices.
