Abstract

Na lokalitetu Slani potok nedaleko Crikvenice, snimljen je geološki stup i obavljeno istraživanje u okviru Breemeco projekta tijekom lipnja 2021 godine. Četiri uzorka lapora (K-5, K-7, K-9, K-12) su obrađena metodom šlemanja s ciljem dobivanja kompletnih mikrofosila iz sedimenta. Na uzorcima su provedena makroskopska opažanja (boja, tvrdoća), te analiza mikrofosilnih zajednica na temelju kojih je određen okoliš taloženja. More zajednicu (male bentičke foraminifere, planktonske foraminifere, bodlje ježinaca i mahovnjake), stoga je izabran za daljnu standardizaciju, odnosno izdvajanje 300 jedinki foraminifera. Na osnovu odnosa planktonskih (63,8%) i bentičkih foraminifera (36,2%) određen je okoliš taloženja srednji šelf. Također foraminifere su podjeljene i na temelju tipa stijenke i oblika kućica, pa tako unutar foraminiferske zajednice prevladavaju foraminifere s perforatnom stijenkom (95%) i trohospiralnom kućicom (62%). Abstract (english)

At the Slani potok locality, near Crikvenica town, a geological column was recorded and research was carried out as part of the Breemeco project during June 2021. Four samples of marl (K-5, K-7, K-9, K-12) were processed by wet sieving method with the aim of obtaining complete microfossils from the sediment. Macroscopic observations (color, hardness) were carried out on the samples and the analysis of the microfossil community made it possible to determine the depositional environment.... More Sample K-9 contained the the most diverse and well preserved microfossil community (small benthic foraminifera, planktonic foraminifera, urchin spines and bryozoa), therefore it was chosen for standardization, i.e. the selection of 300 foraminiferal individuals. Based on planktonic (63.8%) and benthic foraminifera (36.2%) ratio, the middle shelf depositional environment was determined.
