Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad se bavi aplikacijama koje koriste RESTFul web servise. Najprije se opisuju različite arhitekture za razvoj aplikacija i argumentirano je koje su pogodne za REST. Nakon toga je dato značenje web servisa kako bi se lakše shvatilo u kojem su odnosu REST API i aplikacija koja ga koristi. Zatim je dan uvod u HTTP, budući da taj protokol igra veliku ulogu u implementaciji REST-a. Uvode se pojmovi URI, metode, status kodovi. Nakon toga prelazimo na REST: od uvođenja pojma REST,... More principa kojih se treba pridržavati da se dobije pravi REST, pa do usporedbe sa SOAP-om koji je najčešća alternativa REST-u. Zatim su opisane tehnologije i alati koji omogućavaju i olakšavaju izradu praktičnog dijela ovog rada. Konačno, ulazimo u detalje dizajniranja i implementacija REST API-ja, potkrijepljene dijelovima koda. Osim što je navedeno kako je nužno implementirati API da bi se zadovoljili svi principi i protokoli, također se navode neke općenito dobre programerske prakse. Less

Summary This paper is about applications which use RESTFul web services. First, we describe the appropriate conditions for applications using RESTFul web services that and the suitable architecture. Alternative options are also described to get a better sense of when this kind of application should be made, and when it is better to use other options. The introduction to HTTP is given because it is a big part of building REST web services. After that, we finally get into details of what... More REST really means and it is compared to SOAP.
