Abstract
U ovom radu proučavamo osnovna svojstva i neke od primjena latinskih kvadrata. Uvodimo pojmove usko vezane uz latinske kvadrate i razmatramo njihova svojstva i međusobnu povezanost. Povezujemo latinske kvadrate s teorijom grafova, tj. s potpunim grafovima, Hamiltonovim putevima i Eulerovim turama. Na kraju rada uvodimo pojmove magičnog kvadrata i Roomovog kvadrata te opisujemo i provodimo neke od načina njihove konstrukcije.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, we study the basic properties and some applications of Latin squares. We introduce terms closely related to Latin squares and consider their properties and interrelationships. We connect Latin squares with graph theory, i.e. with complete graphs, Hamiltonian paths and Euler tours. At the end of the thesis, we introduce the concepts of a magic square and a Room square, and describe and implement some ways of their construction.
