Abstract

Tehnološki napredak donio je BBC micro:bit uređaj kao potencijalnu pomoć u provođenju istraživački usmjerene nastave fizike. Takva vrsta nastave u središte stavlja učenikov doticaj s pokusom kao temeljnom metodom učenja jer na taj način učenik izravno istražuje fizikalnu pojavu i donosi zaključke koji proizlaze iz proučavanja. Jedna od cjelina u kojoj micro:bit može biti iskorišten kao rijetko dostupni alat je magnetizam gdje ga se koristi kao magnetometar za određivanje jakosti i smjera magnetskog polja Zemlje i drugih magneta. Osim što potiče istraživački usmjerenu nastavu, micro:bit predstavlja i vezu između programiranja i nastave fizike, odnosno doprinosi STEM pristupu obrazovanju koji za cilj ima povezati znanost, tehnologiju, inženjerstvo i matematiku u procesu poučavanja.

Abstract (english)

Technological advancement has brought the BBC micro:bit device as a potential aid in performing inquiry-based physics learning. This type of education places the students' interaction with experiments at the center, acknowledging it as a fundamental learning method. This allows the student to directly explore physical phenomena and draw conclusions based on their exploration. One of the areas where micro:bit can be utilized as a unique tool is in the study of magnetism, where it is used as a magnetometer to determine the strength and direction of the Earths' and other magnets' magnetic field. In addition to promoting inquiry based learning, micro:bit also bridges and links programming and physics education, contributing to the STEM approach to teaching, aiming at the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in the teaching process.
