Abstract

Kulturna i kreativna industrija dinamičan je sektor kojeg se aktivno istražuje i definira tek od kraja 20. stoljeća. Radi se o sektoru koji je pogonjen suvremenim procesima poput globalizacije i digitalizacije postao jedan od ekonomski najvrijednijih industrijskih sektora današnjice. Različit je od tradicionalnog poimanja industrije stoga ga treba shvaćati apstraktno, istovremeno prihvačajući sve specifičnosti koje ga odlikuju. U ovom je radu naglasak stavljen na definiranje kulturne industrije i kreativne industrije te njihovog međuodnosa, a prostorno je istražen na području grada Varaždina. Inventarizacijom postojećeg stanja i kritičkim sagledavanjem procesa koji su doveli do istog u završnom je djelu rada na temelju otkrivenih spoznaja predstavljena moguća perspektiva daljnjeg razvoja kulturno kreativnog sektora na području grada Varaždina.

Abstract (english)

Culture and creative industry is a dynamic sector, which is actively examined and defined since the late 20th century. It's a sector which is powered by modern-day processes such as globalization and digitalization and has thus become one of most valuable industrial sectors of today. It's different from a traditional understanding of the industry, therefore it should be abstractly understood with all unique that it possesses. This paper emphasizes on defining the culture industry and creative industry and on their interrelation and it's spatialy examined in the Varaždin city area. By the inventory of the existing situation and by the critical observation of the processes that led to it, it is in the final chapter of this paper where based on the findings a possible prospect of further development of the culture-creative sector in the area of Varaždin is presented.
