Abstract

U ovom radu predstavljene su mineraloške i kemijske analize uzoraka Raškog ugljena, pepela, šljake i tla u okolici TE Plomin. Dobiveni rezultati u skladu su s dosadašnjim istraživanjima i pokazuju visok udio S, B, Sr, V, Se, Mo, U i Hg. Naglasak je stavljen na kemijsku analizu vodenih eluata dobivenih testom izluživanja EN 12457-2 iz koje je vidljivo kako uran i selen predstavljaju problem u Raškom ugljenu i u okolnom plominskom tlu (posebice u blizini velikog odlagališta pepela), dok u pepelu veliki problem predstavlja selen. Zbog prevladavajućih krških uvjeta, selen je lako mobilan što može dovesti do negativnog utjecaja na okoliš

Abstract (english)

Presented in this paper are the mineralogical and chemical analyses of Raša coal, ash, slag and soil samples found near the thermal power plant Plomin. The results of analyses here given are in accordance with previous studies, and show high levels of S, B, Sr, V, Se, Mo, U, and Hg. This paper focused on the chemical analysis of aqueous eluates obtained by a leaching test (EN 12457-2), which showed that uranium and selenium are major problems in Raša coal and in the surrounding Plomin soil (especially that is close to big ash waste pile), while selenium is a major issue in ash. Due to a generally karstic area, Se is highly mobile, which can have a negative effect on the environment.
