Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je upoznati se s metodam promjene razlučivosti slike uz pomoć histopolacijskog splajna. Navedenu metodu usporedili smo s metodom najbližeg susjeda, bilinearnom i bikubičnom interpolacijom. Rezoluciju slike smanjvali smo na 50% dimenzije početne slike i ponovno i povečavali na prvobitne dimenzije pa uspoređivali dobivene rezultate. Evaluacija rezultata navedenih metoda provedena je uz pomoć MSN (srednje kvadratne pogreške) i PSNR (najveći omjer signala i šuma). Metoda bikvadratnog histopolacijskog splajna dala je najbolje rezultate.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to get acquainted with the method of changing the image resolution with the help of histopolation spline. We compared this method with the nearest neighbor method, bilinear and bicubic interpolation. We reduced the image resolution to 50% of the dimensions of the initial image and again increased it to the original dimensions and compared the obtained results. The evaluation of the results of these methods was performed using MSN (Mean-Squared Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio). The biquadratic histopolation spline method provided the best results.
