Abstract

Godine 1898. Nikola Tesla je na svjetskoj izložbi u New Yorku prezentirao prvog daljinski kontroliranog robota. I danas, kada se bežična komunikacija koristi na globalnoj razini i u svemiru, većina ljudi ne razumije način na koji ona funkcionira. U okviru ovog rada diskutirat ćemo o temeljnim fizikalnim konceptima kao što su valovi i o načinima kako koncept valova i upravljanja na daljinu približiti učenicima i prije formalnog učenja o tim temama u okviru kurikuluma fizike u srednjoj školi. Suvremena nastava fizike potiče udaljavanje od klasične predavačke nastave i okretanje prema interaktivnom pristupu u poučavanju. Cilj nastavnika nije prenijeti učenicima gotove činjenice već omogućiti radnu atmosferu u kojoj će učenici sami moći otkriti pravilnosti i zakonitosti u pojavama i složenim konceptima koji ih okružuju. U tom smislu nastavnik postaje koordinator uvjeta i sredstava potrebnih za rad, a učenici imaju zadaću u tim uvjetima otkriti njima do sada nepoznate pojave, procese i zakone. Suvremena nastava fizike posebno ističe važnost pokusa u nastavi fizike. U kontekstu pokusa u nastavi fizike upravljat ćemo Teslinom podmornicom na daljinu i razraditi metode kako približiti fizikalne osnove ove teme djeci u ranom stupnju njihovog učenja kako bi već tada stvorili temelje za razumijevanje komunikacije na daljinu.

Abstract (english)

In 1898 Nikola Tesla presented his first remote controlled robot at the world exhibition in New York. Even today, when wireless communication is used worldwide and in space, most people don’t understand the way it works. In this thesis we will discuss physical concepts like waves and the ways how to clarify the concepts of waves and remote control to students even before formal studies in the physics curriculum of elementary schools. Modern physics class programs encourage moving away from classical teaching approach and turning to the interactive teaching approach. The goal of teacher is not to transfer facts but enabling the proper work atmosphere in which the students will be able to discover regularities and laws in occurrences and complex concepts that surround them by themself. In that sense the teacher becomes the coordinator of the terms and means required for learning, and the students are required to discover to them unknown occurrences, laws and processes. Modern physics classes put the imperative on practical experiments. In that context in physics education, we will control the Tesla’s remote controlled submarine and elaborate methods of approaching the physics fundamentals to children in the early stage of their learning in order to develop the foundation of understanding the distant communication.
